### What are credits?
Credits are how we measure compute usage. As a rough guide, 1 credit equals the compute required to process 1 page of a PDF. Simple questions use fewer credits, while complex analyses across many documents use more.

### Can I try Compound for free?
Yes, we offer a free tier with 1GB of storage and 10K credits.

### What do paid tiers offer?
Currently, higher tiers include more storage and credits. In the future, we will offer additional features like additional curated data sources, and more.

### I'm unhappy with my Compound experience. How do I get a refund?
We're sorry to hear that. Please contact support@getcompound.ai and we'll be happy to help.

### What happens if I exceed my credits?
For the Free plan, you won't be able to use the AI Analyst until your credits reset. On paid plans, you can buy credits to continue beyond your monthly allocation. On Teams, admins top up the team's shared pool.

### What happens if I downgrade or cancel a paid plan?
You will keep access to your current plan until the end of your billing cycle. After that, your limits on storage and credits will adjust to the new plan.
