Every workbook Compound builds or edits now follows the formatting conventions investment teams expect. Inputs, formulas, and links are clearly distinguished, section headers and totals stand out, and number formats stay consistent — from percentages and margins to negatives and thousands separators. Outputs from completely different tasks read like they came from the same analyst, not different AI prompts.

Works with your standards

House Style is the default when you don't provide a template or formatting instructions. Give Compound a precedent model, firm template, or explicit instructions and it follows those instead; open an existing workbook and it preserves the conventions already in place.

You can now give a group its own AI teammate, with its own name, email address, and a drive the group shares. Email it a task or @-mention it in Slack, and it picks up the work, runs the analysis, and replies to the whole group with the finished file attached. Because it works from one shared drive with one memory, its work compounds — research it does today is there when a teammate builds on it next week.

Scoped to the right people

A Team Agent belongs to one group, and only that group can reach it, so a deal team's agent stays walled off from everyone else. When you want wider access, an admin can let specific people — or whole email domains — message it too.

Compound can now check its own work. Run a Review on any chat and it re-examines the changes made to your files, flagging broken formulas, math that doesn't tie, inconsistent numbers, and assumptions worth a second look. Each finding links straight to the exact cell, span, or page, so you can see what's wrong in context — then send it back to be fixed or mark it resolved, all from one panel.

Fast, even as your work grows

Each Review picks up where the last one left off, looking only at what's changed since — so reruns stay quick on long, evolving threads. The first time through, with nothing before it to compare against, it reviews the whole conversation. Add an optional focus note — "double-check the WACC and the revenue build" — and Compound looks there first.

You can now share workspaces, chats, and files with a group, not just one person at a time. A single, unified recipient picker lets you add people, groups, or email addresses in one place. Group membership keeps access in sync as your team changes, so the right people always have what they need.

Markdown files in your Drive now open in a Word-style visual editor, so you can format documents without writing raw markdown. Changes save automatically as you type, and you can switch back to source whenever you prefer.

Team-defined Drive properties

Teams can now define custom properties on their drives. Add metadata to a drive, edit it inline, and filter or group your files by the properties that matter to your workflow.

We've rolled out a new default calculation engine for Excel and a new rendering engine for PowerPoint. Both improve fidelity and reliability across workbook and presentation generation, so more of what Compound produces matches what you'd build by hand.

Simpler, more predictable credits

Billing is now clearer: a single credit pool, with the option to buy prepaid credits whenever you need more headroom. You stay in control of spend, with no surprises.

The Drive can now be pinned as a persistent, resizable column next to your open artifact, so your files stay in view while you work instead of disappearing behind the document. Your layout is remembered for each workspace.

Your Drive now uses a unified tree view that you can navigate entirely from the keyboard, making it faster to browse, organize, and open your files. Deleting a drive or clearing its files now asks for confirmation first, so nothing important disappears by accident.

You can now upload archives directly. Drop in a .zip, .msg, or .eml file and Compound automatically unpacks its contents into your Drive, ready to analyze — no manual extraction required.

Find more, faster

Drive search now matches the contents of your messages, not just their titles. The sidebar lists every drive you have access to and opens your most recent ones by default.

Compound now has a full dark theme. Switch between light, dark, and system appearance from your settings, and the new look carries through everywhere — spreadsheets, documents, and previews included.

This release brings a focused pass on mobile and accessibility. Shared chats and snapshots now render cleanly on smaller screens, navigation is easier to reach, and text input is more reliable across devices.

Compound now works directly inside Excel. Install the Compound add-in and chat with your analyst in the task pane to edit the open workbook — build models, write formulas, and update sheets without leaving the spreadsheet. Your linked workbook stays in sync with Compound, so work moves seamlessly between the web app and Excel.

Today we're launching Frankie — your AI coworker for analyst work. Email Frankie a task, and it handles the analysis inside Compound, then replies to your inbox with the results. Reply in the thread to iterate, and Frankie remembers what you're working on so you don't have to brief it from scratch every time.

Work that doesn't wait on you

Frankie works asynchronously. Send a request, step away, and come back to a reply with the memo, spreadsheet, or presentation attached — plus a link to the Compound chat where the work happened, for full traceability. Schedule one-off tasks for a specific time, or set up recurring work on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence — morning market updates, weekly portfolio reviews, monthly sector reports.

Compound now supports enterprise single sign-on through Okta. Team administrators can configure SSO from Settings, and members sign in with an email-first flow that automatically routes to their identity provider. Session management and MFA are handled by your existing Okta policies, so security teams can enforce their standards without additional configuration.

Audit log

Team administrators now have access to a full audit log of activity across their organization. View events by user, action type, or time range, and export to CSV for compliance reporting or internal review.

Workspaces are now Drives. The new Drive experience brings a familiar file management interface to Compound—organize your documents in folders, drag to reorder tabs, and navigate with breadcrumbs. Every user gets a default "My Drive" where new chats and uploads land automatically. The redesigned file panel makes it easy to find, move, and manage your analysis files alongside your conversations.

Fiscal.ai financial data

Compound now integrates with Fiscal.ai to bring standardized financial data directly into your analysis. Pull income statements, balance sheets, cash flow data, and key ratios for public companies—all with source attribution back to SEC filings. Your analyst can cross-reference reported financials with your own models, compare metrics across companies, and cite specific line items from official filings.

Doubled credits

We've doubled the monthly credits included with every paid plan. Plus, Pro, and Team subscribers all receive twice the credits at the same price—giving you more room to run complex analyses and generate artifacts without hitting your limit.

Compound now integrates live data from Polymarket. Query real-time market odds on elections, macro events, Fed policy decisions, regulatory outcomes, and more—directly from any chat. Your analyst can pull current contract prices, historical price movements, and trading volume to enrich your analysis with crowd-sourced probability estimates.

Prediction markets meet fundamental analysis

Combine Polymarket odds with your existing document analysis for a more complete picture. Ask your analyst to compare market-implied probabilities against your own scenario analysis, overlay prediction market trends on earnings timelines, or flag divergences between consensus expectations and crowd sentiment. Every data point cites its source, so you can ask your analyst to refresh the numbers whenever you need an update.

Set it once, and Compound handles the rest. Recurring tasks let you schedule analyses that run automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence. Whether it's a morning portfolio risk summary, a weekly competitor earnings tracker, or a monthly sector performance review, your analyst executes the task on schedule and delivers results straight to your workspace.

Your analyst can read, quote, and cross-reference transcripts alongside your other documents, making it easy to track management commentary across quarters.

Analyze calls in context

Ask your analyst to compare guidance across multiple quarters, flag changes in management tone, or extract specific metrics mentioned during Q&A. Every response cites the exact passage from the transcript, so you can verify findings instantly.

Compound now supports custom skills—reusable instructions that tailor your analyst's behavior to your workflow. Just ask Compound to create one in any chat (e.g., "Create a skill that formats output as a board-ready memo") and it will be saved to your account. You can also create and manage skills directly from Settings. Skills persist across all your workspaces, and Compound will propose new ones based on patterns it notices in your conversations.

Secure team sharing

Teams now have built-in sharing controls for workspaces and chats. Set visibility to team-only so that sensitive analysis stays within your organization, or share publicly with a link when you need to. Chat visibility is automatically scoped to its parent workspace, preventing accidental oversharing.

Compound's interface is now fully localized in English, French, and Spanish. Language preferences can be configured in your account settings.

We've restructured our Pro tier to better align pricing with value delivered. Pro now starts at $150/month with 350K credits and 500GB of storage, with the flexibility to upgrade limits as your needs grow. Pro users can also enable usage-based pricing to continue working beyond their monthly allocation—you set a spending cap, and only pay for what you use.

This change reflects our commitment to transparent, predictable pricing. Rather than one-size-fits-all plans, Pro users can now tailor their subscription to match their actual usage patterns.

A note for existing Pro users

If you subscribed to Pro during our beta period, you're grandfathered into your current plan with unlimited credits. Your pricing and terms remain unchanged for as long as you maintain your subscription. Thank you for your early support—it means a lot to us.

Compound now generates documents and images in addition to spreadsheets. Request an investment memo or executive summary, and receive a fully formatted artifact ready for review and editing. Each artifact maintains a complete version history, enabling you to track changes and restore previous versions as needed.

All generated artifacts can be saved directly to your workspace for future reference, and workspace contents can be downloaded in bulk for offline access or distribution to stakeholders.

Two-factor authentication

Users who sign up with email can now enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account security. Once enabled, you'll enter a time-based one-time password from your authenticator app each time you sign in. 2FA can be configured in your account settings. Users who sign in via Google or SSO should manage 2FA through their identity provider.

Compound now requests clarification when additional context would improve analysis quality. Rather than making assumptions about time periods, metrics, or methodologies, your analyst presents targeted questions with suggested options. This ensures that deliverables align precisely with your requirements from the outset.

Following each response, Compound suggests relevant follow-up questions based on the analysis performed. This accelerates the research process by surfacing natural next steps and areas for deeper investigation.

Compound can now supplement document analysis with current information from the web. When your query requires recent earnings data, market developments, or regulatory updates, your analyst searches relevant sources, synthesizes findings, and provides citations linking directly to original materials. This capability is particularly valuable for time-sensitive analysis where document libraries may not reflect the latest developments.

Session continuity has also been enhanced. Analysis sessions now persist across browser refreshes and connection interruptions, ensuring that work in progress is never lost.

Global Chat enables rapid interaction with your analyst directly from the homepage, without requiring a workspace or spreadsheet context. This streamlined access is ideal for preliminary research, quick calculations, or exploratory questions before committing to a full analysis project.

Workspace creation has been simplified with a dedicated setup flow, reducing the time required to begin new analysis projects.

Compound is now fully optimized for mobile devices, enabling you to review analyses, check findings, and continue conversations while away from your desk. The interface adapts to any screen size while maintaining full functionality.

Spreadsheet viewing has been enhanced with a full-screen mode for detailed model review. Additionally, cell citations are now preserved when copying content, maintaining the audit trail when transferring analysis to other documents.

This release delivers significant improvements to platform stability and performance. Core workflows have been optimized for greater reliability, and the version comparison feature has been enhanced for more accurate change tracking across workbook iterations.

Formula auditing capabilities have been expanded, allowing you to trace cell dependencies and understand model logic more effectively.
