Steadier work inside Excel — the add-in, upgraded
When Compound edits your open workbook, it now applies the change in place instead of re-downloading the whole file, so edits land quickly and charts, styles, and sheet structure survive intact. Edits you make yourself during a turn are kept rather than overwritten. And Excel's undo history now survives a sync, so Ctrl+Z still does what you expect after Compound has been at work.
Steadier on real models
Cross-sheet formulas no longer break when a new version comes down, What-If data tables no longer destabilise desktop Excel, and a workbook linked to a drive you can't write to is caught when you open it rather than failing on your first save.
Also in this release
- Edits apply in place, not by reloading the workbook
- Your undo history survives a sync
- Cross-sheet formulas and data tables hold together
- Read-only drives are caught up front
