Introducing Frankie: your AI coworker, in your inbox
por Compound Team · 20 de abril de 2026 · 2 min de lectura
Most analyst work already starts as an email: a request, a few attachments, and an expectation that the finished files come back in the same thread. The tools that do the work, though, live somewhere else — you leave your inbox, open an app, and carry the context over yourself.
Today, we’re introducing Frankie — your AI coworker for analyst work. Email Frankie a task and it handles the analysis in Compound — pulling the data, building the models, writing the memo — then replies to your inbox with the results. Frankie remembers your context across requests, so every task builds on the last.
A coworker, not another app
Working with Frankie looks like working with a colleague. Send an email to frankie@getcompound.ai describing what you need in plain English. You can attach files — Excel, PDF, Word, and more — for Frankie to upload to your Compound drive and analyze.
Frankie acknowledges your request and begins working immediately. When done, it replies with the results, any created files attached — spreadsheets, documents, presentations — and a link to the Compound chat where the work was done. Reply to the email thread to ask follow-up questions or request changes.
What Frankie can do
Frankie handles analyst work inside Compound. You can ask it to:
- Analyze documents and data in your drives
- Create Excel workbooks, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations
- Research public companies using SEC filings, earnings transcripts, and web data
- Build financial models, comps, and other analytical outputs
- Run complex multi-step analyses across multiple files
Frankie can also search across your Compound drives — finding files by name, searching past chat messages, or locating prior analyses.
Work that runs on a schedule
Not every task needs to wait for you to ask. Frankie can schedule one-time tasks to run at a specific date and time, or set up recurring analysis on a cron schedule — daily market updates, weekly portfolio reviews. Either way, Frankie emails you the results as soon as each scheduled run finishes.
It remembers
Frankie remembers context across conversations — your preferences, prior decisions, and important details — so you don’t have to repeat yourself. Ask it to research a company this week, and next week’s follow-up doesn’t start from zero.
Get started
Create a Compound account if you don’t have one, then email frankie@getcompound.ai with a request — for example, “Analyze the Q4 earnings for AAPL and create a summary spreadsheet and memo. Send them to me as a zip file.”
