Schedules and Watchlist

Dernière mise à jour 17 juillet 2026

Schedules and Watchlist are Compound’s automation surfaces. Schedules run a prompt on a cadence — daily, weekly, or once at a specific time. Watchlist tracks companies so a new earnings transcript can trigger an analysis without you having to remember to run it. Each run lands as a normal chat in the Drive you picked.

Both live in the left sidebar.

Schedules

A Schedule pairs a prompt with a cadence. The agent runs the prompt on schedule, produces an analysis (and any files it creates along the way), and the result lands as a chat in the Drive you selected when you created the Schedule.

Create a Schedule

Open Schedules

Click Schedules in the sidebar.

Click New Schedule

The New Schedule form opens. Give the Schedule a name and write the prompt the agent should run.

Pick the Drive

Under Drive, choose where the resulting chats should land. The picker lists every Drive you can write to.

Set the timing

Under Timing, pick a cadence:

  • One time — runs once at a specific date and time.
  • Daily — runs every day at the time you specify.
  • Weekdays only — runs Monday through Friday at the time you specify.
  • Weekly — runs once a week on a chosen day.
  • Monthly — runs once a month on a chosen date.

Click Create Schedule

The Schedule is saved and starts running on its next scheduled time.

Edit or delete a Schedule

From the Schedules page, click any Schedule to edit the prompt or change the cadence. To remove a Schedule entirely, use Delete Schedule.

Watchlist

A Watchlist entry is a company group: one or more tickers paired with a prompt the agent runs automatically whenever any company in the group reports new earnings. Compound watches the group in the background, so you don’t have to remember to run it. Currently the only trigger is a new earnings transcript.

Create a company group

Open Watchlist in the sidebar and click New Company Group. A group pairs a set of companies with a prompt the agent runs whenever any of them reports earnings. You enter companies by ticker under Watched tickers — append @EXCHANGE (like K@NYSE or RIO@LSE) when a ticker trades on more than one exchange. You also choose which public data sources the agent can draw from — EDGAR filings, the web, earnings transcripts, Polymarket, and stock data — and which Drive the resulting chats land in, or point the group at an existing chat to continue there. It starts watching as soon as you save it.

When a new earnings transcript for any watched ticker becomes available, the prompt triggers within minutes. Each run lands as a new chat in the Drive you selected (or in the chat you picked).

Useful prompts:

  • “Summarize the call in three bullets. Flag any guidance changes vs the prior quarter.”
  • “Pull the headline KPIs from the transcript and the supplementary deck into a comparison sheet.”
  • “Compare management’s tone on margins to last quarter — be explicit about anything that changed.”

Edit or delete a group

From the Watchlist page, open any group to edit its prompt, tickers, or Drive. You can add, move, copy, or remove individual companies across groups, and Delete group removes it entirely.
